Ways to Lose Weight Fast: Three Simple Tips

If you want to lose weight fast, these three simple weight loss tips are a great way for you to achieve results that last. As you know, easy weight loss programs are a dime a dozen…and 95% of people who use them end up gaining the weight right back. If this concerns you, you'll be relieved to know that there actually is a common denominator which the top 5% possess, and once you know it, you’ll be able to apply even the simplest weight loss tips and get results where other people fail.
So if you’re interested in learning how to lose weight fast and take your place among the top 5%, these tips for easy weight loss will help you understand the difference.

First, Get Your Mind Right
The most important key to being able to lose weight fast is getting yourself in the right frame of mind. This means that you set a specific goal weight AND expect to achieve it…no matter what. This is a simple distinction, but a critical one when it comes to achieving any goal. This is because it gives you a sense of certainty and decisiveness which will motivate you to do all the things you already KNOW you need to do to lose weight fast. Too many people read weight loss tips and start applying them, only to tell everyone “I’m trying to lose weight” or “I want to lose weight fast.”

But trying to do something and wanting to do it carries no absolute certainty that you’ve decided to do it.... and it certainly won't help you develop expectancy to reach your goal. But if you make a definite decision as to the weight you want to reach and if you expect it to happen, your mind will send that signal to your body and prepare you for making it happen.

Second, Resistance Training
If you want to lose weight fast, resistance and strength training is more important than cardiovascular exercise. Building lean muscle makes easy weight loss possible because it boosts your metabolism and energy levels, making it easier for your body to burn fat even during the times when you are inactive. Now, resistance training doesn't mean that you have to turn yourself into the Incredible Hulk. All you have to do is start lifting weights which are heavier than what you're used to lifting, and it will start to strengthen your muscles and bones and help you build lean muscle mass.

Within a few weeks of starting your resistance training, your body will naturally start to drop fat and it will work to keep your body lean and healthy. Of course, it's still important that you follow the guidelines of proper nutrition and do cardiovascular at least three times a week. For best results, alternate between cardiovascular and resistance training or find a way to integrate the two into one work out.

Third, Recondition Your Metabolism
Your metabolism is controlled by something called your endocrine system, which is controlled by the nutrients which you put into your body and by the level of stress in your life. The more you eat processed foods, foods which are high in sugar, processed fats and sodium, the more out of whack your metabolism becomes and the harder it gets for you to lose weight. Other things which hurt your metabolism are extreme dieting and high stress. The good news about this is that if you start eating a natural diet, spending 15 minutes a day in meditation to reduce stress, and avoiding extreme diets you’ll recondition your metabolism for having a healthy lean body.

These three simple tips to lose weight fast will make you one of the top 5% and have all your friends and loved one’s wondering what your secrets are.

Three Steps to Building Self-Esteem

How many times have you missed out on an opportunity because of your lack of self esteem? Have you ever turned into a sweating, stumbling mess at a job interview, and completely forgot the answer to a simple question and failed completely – even though you know you are right for the job?

Have you ever stuttered your way through a conversation with someone you are attracted to, and known straight away that you have blow your chances with them?
Building self-esteem is probably one of the most important things you can do towards your own personal growth. This is because having high self confidence makes everything else in your life so much more pleasant!

To make sure you never miss out on a potentially life-changing opportunity again, here are three easy steps to building self-esteem.

First, Seek Your Own Council
Building self-esteem begins with seeking your own Council when it comes to your self-worth. This is because no matter how hard you work to develop self esteem, there will always be external opinions or circumstances which will seek to tear down your self confidence. Think about it, even the most incredible people in the world are often at the butt of other people’s disproval. The difference is that someone who has unshakable self-confidence always makes sure that they seek their own council above anyone else’s.  They never give exterior circumstances or other people the power to validate them.

TIP: Start paying attention to how often you allow outer circumstances or the opinions of others to chip away at your self-confidence. This alone will give you the power to interrupt this self-limiting pattern and to change it for the better.

Second, Have a Definite Purpose
Having a definite purpose on which to focus your energy is essential to building self-esteem that is indestructible in the face of any circumstance. This is because your definite purpose will help you to develop character trait of decisiveness, which is a clear sign of rock solid self-confidence. Just think about all the people you know who are insecure…I bet you a dollar that they are also indecisive as a result of being unclear about what they want. Now, finding a definite purpose can seem like a big challenge at first. But you'd be amazed at how easy it is once you start seeking your own council and turning off the exterior “noise” which is distracting you.

TIP: Start keeping a daily journal and write down questions about what your definite purpose is. Don't try to answer them at first, just write them down and then start writing whatever comes to mind. This will help you to clarify your thoughts and develop a better understanding of what your definite purpose is.

Third, Change Your Inner Dialogue
Your self-confidence is a direct result of the way that you talk to yourself. Just think about how quickly you can destroy someone else's confidence by the way that you talk to them…or how quickly you can build their confidence up. The same is true when it comes to the way you talk to yourself…only it's more intense because you are listening to yourself 24/7. This is why changing your inner dialogue through use of positive affirmations is the most powerful way to start building self-esteem. The easiest way to develop your positive affirmations is to ask yourself how you would speak to someone else if you wanted to help them boost their confidence.

Then, you simply write down your answers and read them aloud every day, once in the morning and once in the evening. For really fast results, look in the mirror while you do it…look yourself right in the eye.
Now, go put these simple strategies into practice and before you know it you'll be building self-esteem which will make it easier for you to use the skills and talents which you possessed for years.

The Power of the Subconscious Mind: Health, Prosperity and Success

The power of the subconscious mind has been a hot topic in the world of personal achievement for over a century now. But it has only been recently that we’ve had scientifically verifiable information on how the subconscious mind works in regard to attracting prosperity, better health, better relationships and many other things. Over 10 years ago the movie “The Secret” was released and since then more and more people have become aware of the link between the power of the subconscious mind and the law of attraction. If you’re itching to know how this great secret of success and prosperity can help you attract your ideal lifestyle, here are the first few things you need to know:

The Power of the Subconscious Mind and Your Greatest Gift
Almost everyone agrees that the most significant thing which gives power to human beings is the gift of free will. Only human beings have the option of completely reinventing their subconscious conditioning according to what they choose to think about on a consistent basis. This idea has actually been around for thousands of years, as even one of the writers of the Old Testament stated that “as a man think eth in his heart, so he is.” But what does this mean when it comes to the power of the Law of attraction and attracting prosperity, health and success?

Well, consider the wealthiest people on our planet and how many of them have lost their fortunes and reset completely from scratch. Is it possible that such a person could become that lucky twice in a lifetime? In spite of the fact that many of these people have been studied or have written their own books about how they did it, most people cannot duplicate their success. That’s because it’s not the system of principles which is applied that makes someone financially successful, healthy or successful in their relationships…it’s about the person applying the principles.

So if you want to become the type of person who can easily attract better health, prosperity and success into your life, your first task is to use the power of the subconscious mind to recondition yourself for success. If you begin doing this you will develop the same subconscious conditioning which has made others wealthy. It's only a matter of time before your actions and habits begin bringing results which are consistent with that conditioning. But there’s another facet to the power of the subconscious mind which is even more awe-inspiring and incredible than that.

The Power of the Subconscious Mind and Your Connection to the Infinite
Over the past hundred years, physicists have discovered that we are living in an enormous energy field and that everything is made up of energy. The state which something is in (solid, liquid or matter) is determined by the vibrational state of the energy. The interesting thing about this is that you use the power of the subconscious mind to change your conditioning, and it actually begins setting up a different type of vibration on your body. If this different type of vibration is in sync with the energy of what you really want, you’ll be attracted to the things that you want. You’ll notice them more often and you’ll be presented with flashes of inspiration from your subconscious mind which help you to draw up plans of action for having what you want.

In recent years, the above phenomenon has become known as “the law of attraction” which states that the things which you have in your life are a result of your subconscious programming, creating a vibration in your body which naturally attracts what you want. And this is how the power of the subconscious mind determines the results which you attract into your life again, and again and again.

Personal and Spiritual Growth: 5 Easy Tips

Personal and spiritual growth is a lifelong journey and one of the most rewarding things which you can focus your attention on. But if you’re like most people who are interested in their own personal development, you’re probably consistently in search of self improvement tips and strategies which you can use to stimulate your growth, build your confidence and achieve your goals. So as a person who is avidly seeking out new self improvement tips, I’d like to offer a few suggestions in order to give something back.

Here are 5 easy tips for personal and spiritual growth which you can start making a daily habit after reading this article…

Never Assume You Know it All
The first personal and spiritual growth habit, and probably the most important one, is the habit of humility. Believing that you “already know enough” when it comes to personal development is the first sign that your personal and spiritual growth has stagnated. The people who grow the most spiritually and personally are those who always assume that there is an overwhelming majority of things they don't know in comparison to what they already do.

Balance Optimism with Critical Thinking
There’s a lot of talk in the realm of personal development about positive thinking and optimism. But there is such a thing as being so optimistic that you fail to cultivate the skill of critical thinking. No matter how hard you work or how much you know, you're always going to need to learn more and the thing which normally reminds me of this is failure. So while it's good to be optimistic, always remember that you have to cultivate the skill of recognizing the negative things around you so that you can learn from them.

Look for the Meaning in Nature
No matter how many books are written about personal and spiritual growth, most thought provoking enemies are contained within nature. The writer C.S. Lewis once said that he believed the majority of people's problems are caused by the fact that they are so disconnected with the rest of creation. Just think about how much time you spend inside surrounded by man-made inventions and technologies, in comparison to the amazing works of nature.
If you just start spending more time outside or even studying the way that things in nature work, you'll find an enormous collection of lessons which can be applied to your personal development.

Take Care of Your Body
The writers of the New Testament claim that their body is a temple, which if you think about it is much more than just a religious statement. When your body is out of shape you lack the physical energy, the willpower and the focus to concentrate on anything more than just the regular mundane tasks of life. But when your body is in good health and you are full of energy and have the ability to focus for long periods of time, it’s much easier to devote your energies and attention towards your own personal and spiritual growth.

Have a Central Purpose
While personal and spiritual growth is one of the most rewarding things life has to offer, it’s also possible to get stuck in the trap of personal development for personal development’s sake…but with no central purpose towards which to apply it. Having a central purpose for your life will keep you from being distracted by the many things which would hinder your personal growth, and it gives you the energy and focus to keep going even when things seem hopeless.
So those are my 5 tips for personal and spiritual growth. I hope you at least find a few of them helpful and that you can start applying them toward your own personal development. Much success!

How to Use the Law of Attraction

The Law of Attraction has been getting a lot of attention ever since the release of the blockbuster movie “The Secret.” As a result, more and more people are becoming conscious of their thoughts in regard to helping them manifest prosperity, health and romance. But many are also skeptical of how your thoughts alone could attract all of the results into your life…even the things that you don't want. If you’re also curious about how the law of attraction works, and how you can use it to get whatever you want out of life, this article will help you get started.

How the Law of Attraction Works

The thing which confuses many people about the Law of Attraction (aka “The Secret”) is how you could attract something into your life simply by thinking about it…and you can’t. But it’s been scientifically proven that your thoughts have a significant impact on the electrical vibration of your nervous system and that they therefore influence your emotional states and the actions which flow out of it. So if you’re constantly thinking about things that you want, and if the vision and your mind is specific enough it will send a message to the nerves within your muscles and prepare them for action.

But the Law of attraction also creates a level of awareness in your mind which causes you to begin having flashes of inspiration and “hunches” which will guide you in the direction of what you are thinking about. Have you ever noticed how people who know exactly what they want are consistently working towards it and being presented with opportunities to have it? This has nothing to do with luck, fate or divine intervention. It’s simply their mind being “tuned in” to what they want and influencing their actions and intuition in such a way that they eventually get what they think about.
So how can you start using the Law of Attraction to influence your mind and body in such a way?

First, Have a Burning Desire.

One of the simplest and most effective pieces of advice in regard to getting what you want is having a burning desire to see it accomplished. People who know exactly what they want meditate on it until it becomes a burning are bound to figure out how to get it eventually. They are more likely to recognize opportunities to pursue the object of their desire when those opportunities arise. But most important, they are quicker to get back up and reapply themselves when they fail, which helps them to leverage even their failures as learning opportunities.

So the first step towards using the Law of Attraction effectively is having a burning desire and a specific goal, whether it be to manifest financial prosperity (with an exact figure in mind), better health (again, with an exact healthy goal or ideal weight) or any other kind of goal which you can turn into a burning desire.

Second, Lifestyle Design and Planning.

The second step to using the Secret to manifest prosperity, health or romance is to begin building your lifestyle around the object of your desire. This means that you do whatever you can to make it the most prevalent thought in your mind. You can use a vision board, meditation, journaling or spoken affirmations. Use whatever you need to create a vividly imagined experience of you already in possession of the object of your desire. Most important, begin developing a specific plan for how you are going to achieve it and get to work on that plan right away, whether you’re ready or not.

As simple as these may sound, the results are to be proof enough once you get started applying these two steps. The more you do this, the more you'll be convinced of the power practicality of the Law of Attraction.

7 Easy Self Improvement Tips

Self improvement tips are a great way to kickstart your personal growth and to push yourself to new levels of achievement and fulfillment. If you’re someone who's interested in personal development and personal growth, you're probably always in search of effective strategies for stimulating growth.

You're probably also looking for strategies which will ensure your personal growth and help you to achieve results.
So after spending over a decade studying personal achievement, I've decided to provide these seven easy self improvement tips as a way of giving back and helping people like you to achieve greater success in their life.

Daily Journaling
If you study the great achievers of history, you'll find that almost all of them were avid writers. Keeping a daily journal helps you to clarify your thoughts and develop a sense of self-awareness which will give you the ability to reinvent yourself on a moment's notice and help you to develop unshakable self-confidence.

Meditation
This is probably the most commonly neglected of these seven self improvement tips …it’s also one of the most important. Meditation is the most effective means of reducing stress and clearing out your mind from “junk thoughts” which lead to worry and anxiety. Daily meditation also helps to slow your heart rate and regulate your digestion among dozens of other health benefits.
It also makes your sleep more restful and helps your body to recover faster. Basically, the practice of meditation is the one thing which can make the other six of these self improvement tips effective.

Expecting to Win
People who achieve great things in life aren’t normally anymore intelligent or capable than the average person. But they do one thing different which many intelligent people have a hard time doing: they expect to win, even before they know how they're going to do it.
Having expectations doesn't require knowledge of how those expectations are going to be, and if you start from a foundation of bold expectancy, the rest is just a matter of perseverance.

Writing Goals and Plans of Actions
The habit of writing down clear and specific goals and plans of action for achieving those goals is a must if you want to accomplish anything. This is because writing down your goals clarifies them and begins building an expectation in your mind. Also, having written plans gives you a specific set of actions to take each day towards the realization of your long-term goal.

Be Well Rounded
The process of personal development must be holistic in nature. Every single area of your life affects every other area either directly or indirectly. If your relationships are out of order, it's going to affect your health and your financial life. If your health is out of order it's going to start your personal growth and make it more difficult for you to find the energy to achieve any of your goals.
So no matter what you're trying to achieve, being well-rounded is the key to living a balanced life and for building the physical stamina, the emotional fortitude, the financial security and the social support system required in order to achieve great things.

Positive Affirmations
Positive affirmations have the power to change your inner dialogue which can literally change your personality, your character, your actions and your life. For best results, write one positive affirmation for each of the key areas of your life (health, relationships, finances and career) and make a commitment to rehearsing them out loud twice daily.

Teach to Learn
This is the most important of any of the seven self improvement tips. The more you teach other people the principles of personal growth, the clearer your understanding will be of them and the more effective you'll be able to make them in your own life. Even if you have no one to teach, you can write about the principles of personal development and how they are helping you.
You can even begin by writing a short paragraph about each of these simple self improvement tips. Write each one as if you were teaching the principles to someone else and your understanding of them will deepen.
Much success!

Self-Esteem Affirmations: Simple and Effective

Self-esteem affirmations are a great strategy for building self-esteem and for becoming a positive and self-reliant person. This is because positive affirmations have the power to change your habitual thinking patterns and your internal dialogues that shape your self-esteem. So why aren't more people using this method for building self-esteem? It’s because most people just aren't aware of how their own positive affirmations can actually be used to get solid results.

Thankfully, there is an easy set of principles which you can use to construct positive affirmations which are simple and effective. This article will give you a simple strategy for creating and using your own self esteem affirmations.

First, Define Your Standards
Before you begin writing your self esteem affirmations, you need to define your standard for building self-esteem. For example, what is your idea of a person who has high self esteem? Can you think of a specific person…alive or dead? If so, you can begin to define the standards upon which you're going to build your positive affirmations by observing the actions of a confident person. Think about it, what is the point in telling your brain if you're going to become more confident if your brain has no idea what being confident looks like?

Your subconscious mind (which is what you want to influence with your self esteem affirmations) responds to directions. You need to be as specific as possible and the best way to do that is by coming up with definite actions which represent high self esteem. It can be something like the courage to speak to strangers, to the opposite sex, or the courage to negotiate. Just make sure that you come up with a list of actions that you believe to be typical of a confident person.

Second, The Formula of Positive Affirmations
Your self esteem affirmations need to follow four basic principles: they need to be in the present tense; affirmative in nature (in other words, avoid statements like: not, don’t, won’t, can’t, and no); they must be in the first person; they need to be action driven (using the actions you collected in step one). For example:
“I’m assertive and persuasive in my business negotiations.”
“I approach women and strangers and engage them in conversations.”
“I’m a master at closing sales.”
“I disciplined and self-reliant in following my exercise program.”

Notice that all of these self esteem affirmations have four things in common:
They’re all in the present tense
They’re all affirmative
They’re all in the first person
They all involve a specific action
Once you have your positive affirmations written according to these guidelines, there's only one thing left to do…

Third, Rehearse Your Affirmations
Using self esteem affirmations is a perpetual process which you must do on a consistent basis. For best results, say your affirmations out loud in the morning and in the evening. This is important because you are actually training your mind, which is no different than training your body: both have to be done on a consistent basis and if you begin to slack off, your results will start to undo themselves. So practice your self esteem affirmations every day, and if you get bored with them, just write new ones. Make it a lifelong commitment, and confidence will become a natural part of your beliefs and your actions.
